Happy Day to all the Moms!

This Mother’s Day after the annual gift of either taking Mom out for dinner or cooking for her at home, the next most common gifts are flowers and perfume.  Be sure that you do still give her one (or both) of these, but also consider giving her a bottle or two of wine with her favorite aroma characteristics that will enhance or complement the flowers or perfume.

And why choose a gift of enhanced aroma qualities for a woman?   Because as reported in the BBC News of February, 2002, Professor Tim Jacobs of Cardiff University in England notes that  "There is a wealth of scientific data showing women's superiority at identifying and detecting odours at even very small concentrations.”

Take a look at this list, select a couple of Mom’s favorite fragrances and pick up a bottle or two of those wines for her “olfactory pleasure” this Mother’s Day.
