Stratford
Restaurants, Restaurant Menus
and Dining

Stratford, Connecticut is the most
easterly coastal town in Fairfield
County. The town may most notably be
known for Sikorsky Aircraft which was
started in 1939 by Russian immigrant
Igor Sikorsky. Sikorsky is the world's
leading helicopter manufacturer for both
military and commercial applications.
Stratford also has The Shakespeare
Theatre which is soon to be revitalized.
On the way to some of the restaurants on
the water you will pass Sikorsky airport
and also drive through the Great Meadows
Salt Marsh which is a portion of the
Stuart McKinney National Wildlife
Refuge. On Stratford's coastline you
will find two public beaches, several
marinas, some fishing piers, a couple of
boat launching facilities and some great
waterfront restaurants. Marnick's
Restaurant and Motel is also on the
water if you are looking for a place to
stay. Bridgeport Harley Davidson is
there if you are a motorcycle
enthusiast! If you are musically or
artistically inclined, a visit to the
Little Red School of Art & Music is
a necessity!
