History of Saint Tropez Bistro Francais

Saint Tropez Bistro Francais was opened on February 13th, 1999 by Patrick Jean and   Etienne Menozzi. Patrick Jean from St. Tropez was working in numerous restaurants for eight years before moving to NY where he worked at the The Cafe de Paris and The Gascogne. He then moved to Connecticut and worked at Bistro Des Amis in Westport and soon after met Etienne Menozzi.


 

Etienne Menozzi was originally from Corsica and moved to Montreal to participate in the World Fair in April of 1967. He lived in Canada for seventeen years before moving to the states. Etienne has forty four years of cooking experience, including chef at "Le Chambord of Westport for eight years as well as, other restaurants in Fairfield County.

I-95 Northbound - Exit 21 Mill Plain Rd.  At the end of the ramp turn right onto Mill Plain Road. Continue through the next traffic light, under the railroad viaduct and, at the light take a sharp left onto Carter Henry Drive. (By P. Gordon coffee). From New York Merritt Parkway Northbound - Take Exit 44. At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Congress Street. At the first stop sign, turn left onto Burr Street. At the next stop sign Burr Street turns into Mill Plain Road. Stay on Mill Plain Road through 3 stop signs. Continue through the next traffic light. Under the railroad viaduct and, at the light, take a sharp left onto Carter Henry Drive (By P. Gordon coffee). This road leads you tthrough the train station, take a right onto Sanford Street. #52 in the second building on the left.

From New Haven Merritt ParkwaySouthbound - Take Exit 44. At the end of the ramp, turn left at the traffic light. At the traffic light, turn onto Black Rock Turnpike. At the traffic light turn right onto Congress Street. At the first stop sign, turn left onto Burr Street. At the next stop sign Burr Street turns into Mill Plain Road.
