Chef Jose Briceno
Chef Jose Briceno has had an abundance of
top class culinary experience which he
joyously brings to Westport’s Tavern on
Main. Although born and raised in
Chile, his most recent cooking tenure was
with German born, French trained Thomas
Henkelmann, the proprietor of Greenwich’s
world class, four star Homestead Inn.
Previous to that, as a Chef – Partner of the
Telluride Restaurant in Stamford, he brought
his Chilean heritage into play with a
Southwestern mix combined with old world
dishes. And now at Tavern on Main, all
of that influence and experience reaches a
creative and tasteful finale with a
superlative blend of French and American
cuisine combined with that ever present
Briceno tinge. |
