History of Farrells
Casual Dining in a Friendly Atmosphere
Since 1991 Art & Mary Ellen Hetrick have been serving up the
areas Best Steamed Cheeseburgers as well as a menu full of other
great choices including Hand-Carved Prime Rib, Seafood, Chicken,
Pasta Dishes, Tex-Mex, Signature Sandwiches & Salads. A Kid's
Menu is also offered. Farrell's originally opened in the early
1900's as
 a tavern. In 1993, the Hetrick's expanded their menu
and Farrell's is now a full-service restaurant, offering
extensive on and off premise catering for special parties and
events.
Walk into one of several cozy wood beamed dinning rooms
decorated with tiny sparkling lights, and be treated to a number
of timeless American meals. You will soon realize that this
restaurant is a neighborhood in itself that has been a home away
from home for Portlandites for generations.
No matter what you choose of the menu, you will find
it pleasing to the palate... especially the chocolate layer cake
for dessert. You will have to return many times to this place
where " Everyone knows your name" to be able to sample the
entire menu, but with friendly service and a reasonably priced
menu, that should not be hard to do..... |
