History of Penang Grill

Inspired by the fast paced eateries of New York City, Penang Grill in Greenwich, Ct., opened in 2000, offers an "Express" alternative to more formal dining environments by bringing an urban beat to New England. Penang Grill is a sister restaurant of Hunan Taste & Ching's Table both in New Canaan, Hunan Cafe in Wilton, and Wild Ginger in Ridgefield. The restaurants are all owned by Alan and Jing Lee who got their start almost twenty years ago co-owning a small eatery in Park Slope Brooklyn. They are veterans of the restaurant business. Each of the restaurants reflects Alan's idea to make sure the interior design always reflects the menu.
