There's a small hotel and it's
nestled along a curve of the Connecticut
coastline where Long Island Sound is its
widest and the view seems to stretch to
infinity. The hotel dates back to 1800,
when it was a boarding
house
for shipbuilders during the great
whaling days. During its glorious
history, the hotel has undergone many renovations and
enhancements, but one thing has remained constant: The magnificent location.
During our most recent enhancement programs, the winter of
2006-2007, we focused on in room amenities and the special touches to make our
guests comfortable. Each of our 31 rooms and 4 magnificent suites
has a direct water view and most offer a balcony overlooking the beach. The
rooms are large and airy with
contemporary furnishings to complement the Victorian architecture. All beds are
fitted with soft, high thread count 100% Egyptian cotton sheets. Ralph Lauren
feather pillows and comfortable thermal cotton blankets. The bathrooms contain
100% Country Cotton towels and Rusk bath products. All rooms have cable
television and wireless internet services.
Continental breakfast is
served every morning in the lobby. From
there, it's but a few steps to the beach
and the day's activities. There's no place like The Madison Beach Hotel for weekend
getaways or lengthy sojourns.
Our First Floor Rooms offer either 1 queen or 2 single twin beds and windows
with water views.

private balcony overlooking the water.
Second Floor Rooms
The Mini Suites are located on the second and third floors and offer 2 queen
beds, a small kitchen with a microwave and refrigerator, a seating area and a
private balcony overlooking the water.
Our Annex Rooms offer 1 queen bed and 1
twin bed, with a small kitchen, a
microwave and refrigerator, and a shared porch with a distant water view.

A two-night minimum is necessary on weekends in season.
Deposits, less a $25.00 surcharge, are refundable up to 10 days prior to the date of your
arrival. If a cancellation is made within 10 days of your reservation, your deposit,
less a $25.00 surcharge, will be
returned only if we are able to rent your accommodations.
Guests staying seven days or more will receive a 10% discount per room.

down Rt 79 for 6 miles to Rt 1 (Boston
Post Rd.) Take a right onto the Rt 1
