Danbury is another Town in Fairfield County which has a lot to offer. There is the Danbury Mall and several other large shopping districts. The Danbury Railway Museum, Inc. is now open to the Public. For indoor events you may see a show at Tuxedo Junction or stop and play pool at The Boston Billiards Club. For outdoor activities you golf at Richter Park Golf Course (ranked one of the top 25 public courses in the U.S.) or you can bring your boat or a picnic basket to the Candlewood Lake which is a man-made lake stretching almost 20 miles. And of course there are many many restaurants, some also on Candlewood Lake for your dining pleasure.
