There are many many attractions in CT. We
have listed only a few here. Please also visit our CT's natural beauty is enhanced by its many Travel & Tourism Attractions. You can be in a city, or the country and always find something you will enjoy. Connecticut is one of the smaller New England states. Scenic Drives, Great Restaurants & Dining, Wine Trail, Theaters, Concerts, Live Music & CT Bands, Imax Theatres, Seaports, Museums, Historic Homes & Villages, Orchards, Antiques, Gardens, Train Rides, Amusement Parks, Dinosaur Parks, Parks, Beaches, Casinos, Shopping, Boating, Fishing, Skiing, Rock Climbing, Bird Watching, Horseback Riding, Carriage & Hay Rides, Ballooning, Motorcycling, Rafting, Flying, Racing, Hiking, Biking and Camping or just staying at home! CT has it ALL!!! The shoreline is almost all completely protected by Long Island and the Long Island Sound. There is Sherwood Island and Hammonassett State Park which is a favorite spot for people to enjoy the beaches and camping. Drives through the Shoreline will leave you speechless at the sight of some of the houses. or shall we say mansions. There is the Mystic Seaport and Mystic Aquarium in Mystic, and the Maritime Aquarium in the heart of Historic South Norwalk, better known as Sono. You can also find all kinds of quaint shops, restaurants and nite clubs there. There are several boat cruises out to some of CT's Islands. one in Norwalk to Sheffield Island Lighthouse and one in Branford.to tour the Thimble Islands. On the Connecticut River you will find the Gillette Castle and in Harford The Mark Twain House and the Lockwood-Matthews Mansion which are three famous Historical homes in CT, with a large amount of historical homes and landmarks through the rest of the state. Country roads bring you to beautiful lakes, ponds, farms, hills, and some very spectacular scenery. There is also Dinosaur State Park, Dinosaur Crossing, the Mashantucket Pequot Indian Museum, and in Ledyard, CT you will find Foxwood's Casino the world's largest Casino and also the Mohegan Sun Casino.
