High Haven House is 9-room BandB Inn, in a quiet residential neighborhood, and is located less than six blocks, partially up-hill, from the Ferry and the Steamship Authority terminal. Unless you are traveling very light and are accustom to short up-hill walks, taxis are always available at the terminal for the $8 fare to the Inn. Once you are here, you are within a leisurely fifteen-minute to twenty-minute walk (within 1/2 mile) to major Vineyard Haven village venues and beaches. Our amenities include: a sit-down, European-style breakfast of "house specialties" served in the Common Room or on the pool patio, Swimming Pool and Hot Tub for adults, Gas grills and picnic tables, Bicycles, Aerobic Exercise Room for adults only, Private Off-Street Parking, Wireles Internet hot spots, In-room videos, extra guest portable bed at $25/day, and, in all units, telephone for outbound calls, cable TV, VHS tape player, coffee maker, microwave oven, and refrigerator. Deluxe King Bedrm (Fee For Guest 3)

Our Deluxe King guest rooms are our largest guest rooms and have either a four-post King bed or a convertible King bed that allows for either a spacious King configuration or a spacious Two Twin configuration. Each has a shower bath, and is equipped with a writing desk or antique secretary, Cable TV, refrigerator, microwave oven, clock radio, and coffee maker. One King has a functioning fireplace and a four-post canopy bed, with a large sitting area that overlooks the gardens and pool. Each King guest room is located on the Main House second floor.

Standard Cozy Twins

Our Standard Cozy guest rooms are your standard sized BandB rooms, equipped with shared bath, Cable TV, refrigerator, and coffee maker. We have a room with twin beds and a room with a Queen bed. Each is perfect for adjacent room accommodations.

Our King Junior Suites are our larger guest rooms, and have four-post King beds and a large sitting area that overlooks the gardens and pool. Room #1 in addition has a functioning fireplace. Garden has a large private deck and entrance, Bayberry has a private entrance and a smaller private deck. What could you love more. the ocean, the bay side, the dunes. Whispering pines, quaint shopping, brick lined and cobblestone streets, sunsets or just the smell of the ocean air. Cape Cod has long been a favorite SUMMER Tourist Attraction, but now is a great "YEAR ROUND" destination. Whether you are on the Lower, Mid or Upper Cape, you have the Atlantic on one side and the Cape Cod Bay on the other with miles and miles of "Cooky Pines" whispering in the breezes. Visit Nauset Beach in Orleans or enjoy a drink at the Beachcomber at the Cahoon Hollow Beach in Wellfleet, both on the ocean side. Catch the sunset in Dennis on the bayside or take a drive to Race Point in Provincetown and listen to the roar of the ocean surf. Shop till you drop while in "P" Town, take an exciting whale watch out of the harbor or simply just stay in town and people watch!! Arriving in Vineyard Haven you can visit the village where you will find the well known BLACK DOG Restaurant. Make sure you get a shirt!!! At Oak Bluffs you can visit the Flying Horses Carousel, the nation's oldest operating platform carousel, as well as a journey up Circuit Ave to shop and eat! Outside the main street in town, you will find the beautiful, brightly colored, gingerbread cottages. The "most perfectly preserved collection of Carpenter Gothic style architecture in the world". You can visit Edgartown, another quaint village with restaurants, boutiques, and the Wharf. You can sit and watch the boats and the comings and goings of Katama Bay. You can also get on the Ferry and go to Chappaquidick, sit on the beaches of Wasque Point or bring your fishing pole .. this is a favorite spot for blue fishing. Outside of Edgartown visit South beach, sunbath, swim or just sit and enjoy the sound of the waves and the ocean breeze. Traveling around the Island, your next stop could be Gay Head Cliffs where you are overlooking the ocean and the dunes. It is the most dramatic point on the island. At sunset visit Menemsha. Witness a spectacular, natural light show when the sun meets the ocean! Nantucket is smaller, but some feel it is quainter than Martha's Vineyard where sea captain's houses line the cobblestone streets.
