We would like to introduce you to the Tollgate Hill Inn. Situated in the heart of Litchfield County, our Inn offers relaxation and comfort surrounded by 10 wooded acres. We have 20 non-smoking guest rooms, all with private bath, cable TV, phones with free nationwide calling, some with internet access. Suites have canopy beds and fireplaces. Each morning our guests are treated to a generous Continental Breakfast in the Captain Bull House Ballroom. Pamper yourself in comfort as you enjoy your vacation, weekend away or a romantic escape for two. Our dedicated staff is ready to welcome you, and help personalize your time with us. While you are visiting, you will want to dine in history, at our fine dining restaurant. Allow our chef and his staff to create their exquisite cuisine for you while you relax in one of our cozy dining rooms, beside a glowing fireplace. You can spend your days browsing in the many nearby antique shops, visiting local wineries, reading a book by a roaring fire or in a hammock under a tree, hiking, birding, horseback riding, snow shoeing, or skiing either alpine or cross country in the area. No matter what your idea of vacation, you will be sure to find it with us. We thank you again, for considering the Tollgate Hill Inn. Our elegant banquet facilities in the Captain William Bull House include an outdoor terrace for intimate ceremonies or cocktail receptions, and spacious reception hall that can accommodate up to 110 guests for dinner and dancing, or you can step back in time, to the historical colonial Main Inn Ballroom. This room, adorned with a fireplace, ideally provides a more intimate setting for affairs with under 55 guests. |

Drive 4 miles to the center of Litchfield. Take a right at the stop sign onto RT 202 traveling East, and the Inn is about 2.5 miles on the left.
