Welcome to the Monument Mountain Motel. We are a one story, 18 room AAA Rated Motel located in the heart of the Berkshires just 6 miles south of the town of Sotckbridge, Massachusetts, on Route 7. We are located across from Friendly's Restaurant. We offer king size beds, some non smoking rooms, connecting family units, color TV with cable/HBO and remote control, in room coffee, individual heat and air-conditioning, a relaxing in-ground swimming pool, tennis, horse shoes, basketball, playground, walking trails, and spectacular gardens.     Take Interstate 91 North to the Mass Pike. Mass Pike West to Lee exit 2. Take Route 102 to Stockbridge and then follow Route 7 South approximately 5 or 6 miles. The Motel is located on the right across from the Friendly's Restaurant. Take Interstate 87 South (Northway). Get off the Northway (I87) at exit 1 on the Interstate 90 East to Albany and Boston. Follow I 90 East through Albany to the Mass Pike to Lee exit. Take Route 102 to Stockbridge. Then Follow Route 7 South approximately 5 or 6 miles. The Motel is on the right across from the Friendly's Restaurant. Take Saw Mill River Parkway to Taconic State Parkway to Route 23 Exit East. Turn right on Route 23. Follow Route 23 into Great Barrington to the junction of Route 23 and Route 7. Follow Route 7 North approximately 2 miles. The Motel is located on the left across from the Friendly's Restaurant. Mass Pike to Exit 2 - Lee Exit. Follow Rout 102 to Stockbridge. Take Route 7 South approximately 5 or 6 miles. The Motel is located on the right across from the Friendly's Restaurant. We are located on Route 7, across from Friendly's Restaurant, just 5 miles south of the town of Stockbridge, Masachusetts in the heart of Berkshire. Follow Rt. 28 for antiquing and quaint shopping while traveling to Woods Hole where you catch the ferry to Martha's Vineyard! You can go to either Vineyard Haven or Oak Bluffs. Arriving in Vineyard Haven you can visit the village where you will find the well known BLACK DOG Restaurant. Make sure you get a shirt!!! At Oak Bluffs you can visit the Flying Horses Carousel, the nation's oldest operating platform carousel, as well as a journey up Circuit Ave to shop and eat! Outside the main street in town, you will find the beautiful, brightly colored, gingerbread cottages. The "most perfectly preserved collection of Carpenter Gothic style architecture in the world". You can visit Edgartown, another quaint village with restaurants, boutiques, and the Wharf. You can sit and watch the boats and the comings and goings of Katama Bay. You can also get on the Ferry and go to Chappaquidick, sit on the beaches of Wasque Point or bring your fishing pole .. this is a favorite spot for blue fishing. Outside of Edgartown visit South beach, sunbath, swim or just sit and enjoy the sound of the waves and the ocean breeze. Traveling around the Island, your next stop could be Gay Head Cliffs where you are overlooking the ocean and the dunes. It is the most dramatic point on the island. At sunset visit Menemsha. Witness a spectacular, natural light show when the sun meets the ocean! Nantucket is smaller, but some feel it is quainter than Martha's Vineyard where sea captain's houses line the cobblestone streets.
