Property Description

Our property is nestled in the heart of the Green Mountain National Forest and is just five miles from the ski areas of Killington and Pico Mountain, and the Appalachian Trail. Edelweiss Lodge and Motel, a Magnuson Hotels affiliate is also located close to nearby activities include the Green Mountain Rock Climbing Center, Killington Tennis instructional school, and Stream and Brook Fly Fishing. We are also located just 15 minutes from the town of Rutland.

Vermont may most commonly be known for its great ski resorts - Stowe, Killington, Sugarbush, Mt. Snow, Bromely, Stratton and Okemo to name a few, but it has a wealth of other exciting things to do and see. You can find the Alpine Slide at Killington, Bromely and Stowe. Stowe also has a gondola which you can take for a really spectacular ride up the mountain to dine at the restaurant on top. You can catch the Northern Lights in Burlington at the Northern Lights Cruises. Stop at the Quechee Gorge at White River Junction, visit the scenic overlook at the Hogback Mountain Gift Shop on Route 9 in Marlboro and enjoy the 100 mile panoramic view. You can shop at the Factory Outlet stores in Manchester or Essex, shop in the little quaint towns throughout the state like Willington or Bennington, visit Wilkins Harley Davidson in Barre, or go for a ride up the mountain at Smugglers Notch.beware road closed in the winter!!!
