Each with four poster/canopy bed and comfortable sitting area as well. A formal candlelit breakfast is served in the elegant fireplaced dining room on fine china. Full 3 course breakfast weekends and expanded continental breakfast weekdays. Enjoy complimentary port wine, teas, spring water, and cookies anytime. Guest refrigerator. Massage therapy on premesis. Located in the heart of the historic district, on a pretty gas-lit main street, we are a short walk to the water, quaint shops, restaurants, coffeehouses with entertainment, spa s, town green activities, ice skating pond, and Saybrook Point Park at the mouth of the CT River. We are next door to an old-fashioned ice-cream parlor, coffeehouse, art gallery and across from an old house museum and pillared white church. We are just 1mile from beaches, cruises, lighthouses, waterfront dining, golf and mini golf. Beautiful area for walking, bicycling, antiqueing, and scenic drives along the CT River and Long Island Sound. One mile to Long Island Sound beaches and CT River Cruises.
